At SM6 students benefit from high quality teaching delivered by subject specialists with industry and exam board insight leading to exceptional outcomes including 59% of all grades at A*-B in 2025.
In addition to 5 lessons per subject per week, more on average than most UK colleges, students access a further 3 discrete subject support sessions facilitated by a subject specialist ensuring nothing is left to chance.

At SM6 we recognise the challenges students face both academically and personally. We offer the most comprehensive support to establish an environment where students can focus on their learning. Every student is supported by a caring pastoral team, including a dedicated Head of Year and a personal tutor who will truly know and champion them. Students can instantly access an on-site therapist and/or counsellor without having to wait for referral so that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
